i'd have to have to work on new years day, surely the 2nd worst day in the year to have to work. especially if it's day work.

Yep, I agree. I'm working 8am-6pm on New years day in a supermarket which will be dead, and I am standing up re-filling and facing all day.

The only possitive thing that comes out of it is the triple pay!
