Oh was this thread first? Benjamin Button was pretty good I thought. It hit home on the emotional side anyway. Mine would be either Watchmen, District 9 or Avatar.

2012 was bad, but for some reason I just loved it.

either the hangover or district 9, more edging towards district 9 because it was the main characters (wikus) first performace on screen, and he was amazing. paranormal activity was great too, but i find i enjoy comedy and drama much more than horrors.

Wow, that's weird because I was going to say Benjamin Button and thought to myself nobody else would. Nobody else seems to love it like I did, it really hit home some messages to me which have affected me ever since I think. So yeah, Benjamin Button for me too.
