    Default Rare Valuation = Theft

I bought a 'said' super rare with my own real money on habbo, then this website goes and reduces its 'apparant' worth. Thus meaning I have actually lost real money value because everyone on habbo uses this site like it is official.

Now, if this website was an official part of habbo.co.uk then I couldn't complain.

But as its not, what you are effectively doing is stealing. This particular super rare hardly gets traded so goodness knows where they get their valuations from. Especially when there are certain habbos that seem to 'know' which super rares are going to decrease/increase in value before they actually do. Sound corrupt. Habbox even admits that its valuations are not "correct".

Luckily one of my friends works for Lawdit and he is looking into this; to see whether I can claim compensation from habbox.

We're merely a guide as to what people on habbo are currently trading at. If the majority of Habbo use our website for Rare Values, then that is their perogative we in no way force it onto the hotel. Its a very apparent choice.

What we are effectively doing is observing trades on Habbo and monitoring what users want and decide to trade at, and publish our statistical results in value form upon the site, which is in no way comparable to stealing. No value can be correct, its just a valuation from what things are being traded at. Its up to you what your rare is worth.

You won't be able to seek any compensation, I'll save you the effort by telling you that now.

I'd like to ask what rare this is because all of our rares are updated when and only when trades take place. We do not add or change the value of a rare for no reason or with no evidence (hence why the Navy Cord Pillow and others are valueless at the bottom of the page). I wish to know what rare this is please and if any errors have occured (such as false trades) then we would certainly look into it.

    1) It could be argued that you shouldn't be purchasing habbo furniture for money as it is the intellectual property rights of Sulake OY and should not be sold as it is against the license agreement between you the user and them the service provider which makes you involved in this breach of agreement.

    2) Tough, habbo operates much rather like a stock market things change in value depending on its supply and demand and on the general economy. It is effected by trading taking place. For example christmas furniture increases in price closer to christmas, then decreases when its released in the catalogue and will probably decrease further after christmas once the market has been saturated and there is no demand for it.

If you are going to blame anyone I would suggest blaming yourself and from a legal standpoint (yes we have law consultants too) you have no grounds for complaint purely as we weren't involved in this or any transactions. It would be like you trying to sue the New York Stock Exchange because your stock went down after you purchased it.

Also much loving the accusation that we have stolen from you as I yet to see this stolen money in my back pocket. I accept payments in form of cheque, cash or credit card, please send payment within 14 days as I am going on holiday and would like some extra spending money.
