Whoa, looks so good, saw the trailer for it today. It reminds me of the game "fallout3" but with a few bits changed, your thoughts?

It looks like it could be alright, but it kind of just reminds me of various other films I've seen. Might watch it but won't be top of my list.

Really? I'd say its the other way around. The Book of Eli is just being hyped while not many people are taking notice of The Road. To me The Book of Eli looks rather cliche and the idea has been done before, but The Road has a very rough and realistic feel to it which I don't think other post-apocalyptic movies can compare to. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeh i guess your right, i read from your other thread how they had tried to make it realistic which is great as its mostly special effects these days.

Saw it yesterday. Came out of it feeling like I'd just been to church. The storyline is silly, Denzel-can't-kill-me-modern-day-Jesus-Washington was average and Meg is hot .

Worth a watch, I guess. Just don't go out of your way to see it - it's not that great.
