It's not small though, the box is huge especially for what it displays. FIFA is a good example of a game where it gets in the way the most, if you're any way near the far touch line, it means you can't see what you're doing for a few seconds which, regardless of what anyone says, is annoying.

XBL is much more organised and faster to find what you want, I'm not saying it's worth £40 a year or whatever but it is better in my opinion. The only people who tend to prefer PSN are Playstation owners who are bound to by bias.

To be honest have you seen what Microsoft are doing now though? they are soon to release an arcade room where your avatar can walk around and such. They will be charging $2.50 per multiplayer arcade game and 50c per single player game (Not sure on UK price). PSN has the bowling alley in PlayStation Home with some games (Bowling, Pool, some kind of arcade game, darts (I think) and some other things) for free, sure its not classic arcade games but they are still free.

I'm just basing this on what I have seen, and no I do not own a xbox360 (only the original xbox) and yes I own a ps3 -- start flaming me.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

No, actually, game play on 360 is far faster than that of the PSN. I find PSN laggy especially on Fifa, whereas on my 360 games are far less laggy, I can compare these as I have played it on both consoles, and that's just what I think. Yes, the list can go on, and no, my dog has not turned into a plant pot.

So now I'm a sad 360 user? Just face it, I have both, I have seen both online networks, the 360 system is far faster, nicer UI, more user friendly. When I first got my PS3 I didn't know where to start, it was all a bit complicated (my opinion, flame me if you want I don't give a ****, that's my opinion), however when I got my 360 it was much more easier... that's what I think.

Yes, I totally totally agree, xbl is a lot smoother.

The things they offer, the way they look, how it makes you feel. (sounds silly but it all adds up)

I've never had MAJOR problems with my PSN, its just that I find it more laggy online than my 360, and I find it slightly more confusing to use, the xbl online system, I find, is easier.

You know what nobody ever mentions what well does my head in... when you get a trophy or a friend sings in or you get a message etc, the box that pops up is SOOO BIG. It's like OK I SEE IT NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY. On the 360, it's much less in your face and doesn't stay for as long, but more importantly it doesn't block your view of the bloody game.
I totally agree, little things like this do add up.

I also find the trophy and friend notifications are fine, a small message in the top right hand corner which only stays there for about 5 seconds anyway. To be fair, considering PSN is totally free right now (online play always will be) I think it is better.
Your first comment is very easy to solve, ITS CALLED MUTING!!! amazing yes? Yes, PSN is good as its free, there is no denying that, but I'd rather pay £28 a year (Ebay ftw), and have a much better online experience.

I'll repeat what I said earlier, my opinion is that the 360 online play is far superior than that of the Playstations. However, overall, game play, things added into the PS3, what you can get from it... It's more over an open platform - also, having its browser is also a big bonus IMO, which is why I do prefer my Playstation. Also, I find graphics on my PS3 to be better than my 360.

Overall I prefer my PS3, just not its online play (because I find my 360s better), though it is more than acceptable and free. (I'd just rather pay some money and have a better online system like the 360s, that's all).

Omg I don't want them to just rip off PS Homes or whatever it's called. I can't decide if I like the Homes or not. When I first went on it, I thought it looked sooo cool and I loved playing pool and stuff and everyone had Watchmen costumes , but it is a bit of a novelty because I went on it twice and never went back. To be fair it is a bit of a gimmick to try and make the PSN look better than XBL.

Anyway, I don't like the way XBL has sort of copied Miis (from the Wii) nor do I want it to copy Homes. We don't need some stupid world to walk round in, we want to play games. The 360 has focused on gaming so far, and I think it should continue to do so. If it tries to be what the PS3 is, it will become second best.

And Wolves, that's exactly it. It sounds pedantic to point out little faults here and there, but they all build up and the fact we're talking about a £300 piece of machinery, it does all add up and becomes a big deal and quite frankly, the 360 has less of these little things.

Surely the Xbox one is more annoying like when you get an achievement or something it popups up in the middle bottom on the screen and flashes about then disappears.
