Laptop broke [Need Help]

Hey,
I have a laptop that is sorta broke, I havent got the money to get it looked at by a professional and I dnt have a recovery disc.

My laptop just keeps saying configuring updates and restarting, ive left it on for a day now and its still doing the same thing.



any ideasss on how I can fix it? its windows vista btw

do you have it on automatic updates?
it depends how many updates you have to do
because if theres loads its going to take a long time lol
it usually installs them then restarts nd then configures updates
if not turn it off and back on agan
*my dads telling me as hes gd with comps and i ssuck at them kk*


what laptop isit?
ive been having problemes with myne and i went on dell site and found this thing you download it and itfinds ways to fix it its free also but it fixed myne turns out i only neeed to turn off a few programs from starting when i turn laptop on 2 make it faster and it worked so maybe it will work with yours?
