I don't usually mix drinks but when i have i've mixed liquor with a few beers and i was fine

151 is hella expensive from my experience, but yeah stay away from beer that stuff should be kept for a couple at a pub and not for properly going out for shots I'd just do whatever spirits you have around, it's not really meant to taste nice because it's only there for a second, and the ones that do taste better are usually a lot weaker

Yeah, but in australia its so much more macho and common to buy beer. Its literally the only thing you see guys drink over here in pubs and clubs!

Bacardi 151 costs $60 or $70 for 700ml here. And i doubt i'll be finishing that in one night! I spent $30 on vodka the other day and that'll last me maybe 2-4 weeks, depending on what I drink (beer or spirits etc).

I'v had 80% absinth before though that my friend braught back from spain or somet where all the alcohol was dirt cheep.

Started off drinking it straight and later drank it with peach cordial or sumert?
drinkin it straight burned like **** and it didn't go away either it left a feelin in the back of me throat
but i didnt mind it and it was gone by mornin
drinkin it mixed was great actually, usually i hate mixin spirits with **** 'cos its like making ur drink bigger but it was alright with the cordial.
i hate vodka + coke i'd rather just drink the vodka on it's own and get it over with tbh

That's cheaper than I've ever seen it but then again it's not actually sold in UK that I know of so has to be imported from online, still more than I'd spend on one bottle though
How much vodka do you get for that? $30 AUD is about £16 I think which would get you around 1.5l depending on if you buy it branded or cheap lol

Never really saw the point in absinthe other than as an exotic change, but I guess if it's cheap why not lol. Didn't hit me as anything especially lethal ever though like some people claim it to be

You're only supposed to have 2 shots max of absinthe that strength because of its volume, apparently. There's an extreme health warning on the bottles. I had it at a premiere once as the event was sponsored by it, but it was only 40% and I drink stronger whiskey.

My friend was pissed off 2/3 shots and his girlfriend was pretty tipsy too after 2 shots but me and my girlfriend still felt fine after about 5/6 shots (including 1 mixed) it was strange.
