    so we're giving 8 year olds - 13 year olds free laptops now if they have poor parents. What on earth will they use it for? playing miniclip at best I bet.

    Stupid idea, by a stupid goverment.

    Sadly I don't come under low income - and even then I am sure my parents would love a free laptop. I know my dad wouldn't want to have his tax spent on kids he doesn't know, to have a laptop that isn't needed. I think a cheap desktop with internet and word would do fine. Not a ******* laptop.

    My mums claimed one from college. With all software and stuff included the price is over 1.8k and its all free

    I would personally feel **** if I had to claim for everything. What does that achieve people? I would also want to achieve my earnings, myself.
