The trailer looks horrible, looks like a ghost or a person whos just seen a ghost in a blue dress

Just to try and add a bit of substance to that rather unfavourable bump lol; when I first saw the trailer, as soon as I saw the Mad Hatter character (even from behind I think), I automatically thought I bet it's Johnny Depp. In support of Tim Burton criticisms earlier in the thread - surely a character such as this should be somewhat unique and imaginative rather than so easily associated with the actor's previous roles. I haven't seen many Burton films but I've realised that what I thought was a disliking towards Johnny Depp may actually be a disliking to (recent) work by Tim Burton.

Well as I say, I'm not too familiar with his work but I gained that conclusion from reading the thread at least

I can't believe Mars Attacks! has been brought up multiple times yet Big Fish hasn't even been mentioned. I'm not a fan of Tim Burton, but I personally think Big Fish is one of the best films ever made. It is by far the directors best film in my opinion.

hehe and helena bonham carter but I think she's amazing so it's okay!
Can you imagine their convos around the dinner table? :p

Just recently watched Willy Wonka, Burton's remake (for some weird reason) and it's really irritating! Looks like Johnny Depp just watched Michael Jackson for his research!

So I'm hoping he's not going to try and ruin this one too but judging by the pictures, it's definitely gonna be... er... different. Whether it works or not, we shall see!

The only good films Burton has made/produced in the last ten years are.

    - Corpse Bride
    - Big Fish (Forrest Gump ripoff but who cares._
