foundation degree is a like a voactional course. courses are typically 2yrs. Tend to contain work experience as its more practical.
bachelors are worth more than a foundation degree. courses 3 years. bit like an alevel progression degree.

i thought a foundation led onto a Bsc/BA or Msc/MA or whatever
a foundation is usually a course which will enable you to get onto a bachelors course.
for example my mate messed his a levels up so he has to do a foundation in physics before he can get onto his BSc course.
A foundation is only a year long init.
something.
I'm doing a BA and I don't even know the answer lol. Although my course is three years so it sounds like what people have said - Foundation = 1 year and Bachelor = 3 years
I'll put it in simple terms. A BSC is your normal university degree. A Foundation Degree is your lower university degree, for example you can do foundation degrees at my college.
Cheers all. +rep laters
I'm going to be doing a foundation degree which is 3 years long, so they're not always 1 year long & foundation degrees can be more vocational too.
