From what I can tell based on how everything owned by SkaterChu went at the same time, it seems like he was using the same details for everything. I may be wrong, but they got to his Habbo by getting onto his Facebook (as it was linked to his Habbo meaning you can just login from it without entering your Habbo password) and at the same time his website(s) went down.

On the other hand, if we look at Habbox; I highly doubt Jin has linked his Habbo to his Facebook nor can I imagine him using the same details for various things. Jin knows what he's doing so he's not going to allow himself to be in a position where Habbox can go down simply by him being reverted - which is essentially seems to be what happened to SkaterChu.

Nah Habbox is fine, reason it's been up so long is that it actually has a decent server.

Let's assume for a second that everything you just said makes sense. I would be very surprised if more than 5% of Habbo UK's user-base was registered on HabboForum.net - barely a speck on Sulake's radar. Meanwhile, even if all Habbos registered on HabboForum are being hacked, other people are still creating new Habbos as we speak. So there is a lot more money to be had by Sulake if they leave things alone. What good would closing it do anyway? They can't change everyone's email addresses for them. As for being hacked, they have always warned that it's your own fault if you allow your details to be compromised
