    Default my cpu is always at 100%

    right my CPU is always at 100% and i dont know why.

    someone help me reduce it?

    the programs using most of my CPU is firefox (20-30%) MSN at (10-20%) and then bitcomet (10-20%)
    i dont give a ____ if i do its ____ you

    fyi, i wont stop using adblock #shame.

    What CPU is it? For example:

    Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz

    It will be useful to mention this, so whoever can find a solution (incase the chip is a bit weak and powerless)

    Pentium Dual Core t4300 @2.10GHz

    my laptops a 64-Bit aswell so most programs run at 64-bit so it could increase the usage right?

    Go to task manager click processes and watch to see if there's any one process using a lot of your CPU. That was the case on my moms laptop, some old Microsoft Works calendar process was using all of her CPU.

    I get this problem too and there are no processes showing in task manager above 5%

    Well - the non-active system things shouldn't be looked at.

    When you have Firefox open - What do you have open? Lots of pages?
    Do you have any add-ons that might slurp stuff?
