I'm jailbreaking my iPod today. Just downloading a previous version of the firmware.

The best apps IMO are Sbsettings, MyWi, 3G unrestrictor and Installous v2.5.

Best repo by far is ModMyI/xSellize.

What is your default webpage for Installous? I love the beta that was released, shame that it doesn't work any more

The app I use most is MyWi for tethering my iPhone and also SBSettings. Got myself a nice custom theme using Winterboard as well that is matched in SBSettings.

I've got a 2nd gen touch running 3.1.3, don't know whether to jailbreak it or not. Is there a jailbreak out for 3.1.3 yet?

Not yet for 3.1.3.

Just installed a great App, called "updatr", what it does is basically if you install cracked Apps via installous, it tells your when an update is out for them, really handy, and it also gives you a link to update the App.

btw there is an untethered jailbreak out for the ipod touch 3G, iphone 3GS, and the iPad

its called spirit, its very good (Y)
