I couldn't look at my partner in the same way knowing they'd been with someone else whilst I was with them.

Hmm, if the person i liked cheated on me (hooked up) with someone at a club, i dunno how i'd feel. I'd be angry i guess but she would get a few things out of it (drinks for the night etc) so i'd be glad about that, yeh?

If they wanted to be in the relationship then they wouldn't even consider it.

There would be so many trust issues that would get in the way of everything and it'd just make the relationship unbearable.
