Id say whenever you feel ready for both.
But if I had to put the number out there that I think society would accept your choices Id say around 24 or 25.
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

I recently heard about two people who were in my year at school that have got engaged and are pregnant. Some people can be ready very young so obviously it just depends on the people. Personally though I would agree with the OP - around 30 once you've built up a strong position in life with a good career etc.

I don't think there is a right age. We are all individuals, with different backgrounds and have different paths to follow. It's possible to meet your soul mate at the age of 16 and because you aren't ready for a long time commitment, may not meet the perfect partner again for years to come. Too many people rush into marriages or having children at an early age, unprepared for what life throws at them. It's important to discover who you really are, what you truly want from life and firstly to enjoy opportunities that may not be available once you settle into a life long relationship and have a family.

I read an article a few days ago where a woman blamed her marriage failure on having triplets. At first I sympathized until I read the whole story, and only then could I see how different her life could of been had they planned and prepared for a family.

So for me it's more about meeting the right person at any age, learning about each other, before entering into a life time commitment. Ideally I would like a family before I reach 30, I don't want to learn at 30+ that because fertility decreases there are complications.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.

i don't want to get married, so i don't have any problems there
but for kids... if i did meet somebody i liked enough to have kids with, it'd be 27+

i want to get the best of my education and for me that'll mean til i'm 24, then i wanna take time to find a job and move back to canada
then i have to start a whole new life for myself, and sooo i seriously doubt i'll have time for kids for a little while
