Is it worth me trading in my DS Lite for a DSi? WPA-PSK etc, etc?

Was shocked to find it, I'd been usin' max repels whilst I surfed across whirl islands and then I ran out and BAM shiny Tentacool ;D

+ I'm havin' trouble catchin' Ho-oh but I don't wanna resort to master ball

Raikou got so annoying I ended up trading a master ball over from Ruby to Diamond then from Diamond to SoulSilver (Haven't got to Pal Park on SoulSilver yet).

Ho-Oh is doin' me 'ead in!
Gonna transfer some Poke's from Platinum onto HeartGold now with some Masterballs too.
Not usin' the masterballs though just incase I need 'em for later on
Gonna transfer over my Shiny Syther w/ False swipe & see what I got that can paralyz/send to sleep Ho-Oh to make him easier to catch

If you use Pal Park then no, otherwise you could but you can only use WPA-PSK on DSi features, DS games only support what old DS's did. Plus the slightly bigger screen always f's up on the boarder. If you are going to trade for a DSi, you may aswell pay a few extra quid for the XL, that is worth it, PSP size screens.

Thanks for the help. I despeise WEP keys so I'd keep my own anyways (if I was going to buy). But I don't think I'll get SoulSilver or HeartGold just yet.

Caved and used my masterball on Ho-Oh now am off to capture Lugia before headin' towards Indigo Plateu ;D
Never got this far on the original pokemon gold

I'm starting to think my Platinum is a rip-off version. I guess that's what you get for buying it online. When I can find my sister's DSi and test it I'll know - if it doesn't work it's a fake. So I'll just buy SoulSilver at some point (probably).
