    That's their real new layout, they launched it BEFORE April Fools in the US

    YouTube: who cares about HD when you can watch your videos in text. You can opt to watch a video in TEXTp or text only mode. Pretty neat.

    The new layout is horrible. Ever video I go on to I see people complaining.
    I've had the layout for over 2 months now but it went live for everyone.
