    Default Stacking Question

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section.

I was just wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I was stacking one space in my room with Z's etc, but now I've realised that I don't want anything stacked in that square, I want the furni to lie flat on the floor. So I thought what I used to do to remove the higher up placement, was just roll a piece of furni into that spot and then from then on you could place furni on the floor again. But now whenever I try and roll anything into that square it won't let me :S Is there anything else I can do to get it back to normal?

Hello. I'm not 100% sure what the problem actually is because of the way you've worded it but I'll run through a few scenarios and hopefully one will cover your problem.

    1. My first impression is that you've got something stacked a few zs high into the air, and you want to put something underneath it by rolling it in. For this to work you need to leave a low table item, like a coin/ cd/ country ditch corner, on the floor, then place your item you want high in the air on using z shelves. Then you can roll items underneath the high stuff, onto the coin. After that you just remove the coin. The key thing to remember is that you need the coin on the ground because the way the roller works is that it's only going to roll onto something that's either at the exact same height as it, or lower down. Roller's will never roll onto something above them, so even if you have a z shelf high in the air, something won't roll beneath it.

    2. Another thing which I think you might be on about, is a square which just doesn't let anything roll onto it. This can be a nuisance. What happens is that for some reason, a square you're working on just suddenly doesn't let anything roll onto it, even if it's empty of all furni. I've no clue why this happens, but it doesn't happen frequently so it's not such a big deal. If you reload the client or just leave the room for a while it should fix it.

Hope one of those helps. If it's a problem with the room itself, like a glitch in number 2, it will fix itself. If it's a problem with technique then I can just show you how to do what it is you want, or point you in the direction of a guide.

Aaaah I'm so glad you're still on this forum! I think you helped me out a year or so ago with another stacking problem

    I'll try and explain.

I've gone and stacked Z's high in one space. Now whenever I put furni in that spot it goes high up (where the Z's were).

I'd like to put furni back in that spot, but on the floor instead, but whenever I do it goes high up.

So I thought maybe I could roll something off into that spot to make it ground level again, but now I can't roll anything into it. I can place furni in it but it goes high up. If that makes any sense?

Can't edit my last post anymore, but just wanted to say that I've somehow managed to fix the problem spot, although I'm not sure how I did. Thank you so much for your help LoveToStack +rep. Thread can be closed or deleted thanks!
