This seems to be happening frequently at the moment, at the very least on a weekly basis. Technology news is posted in Current Affairs and Technology Discussion. It generally gets more posts in Technology Discussion due to it interesting the people there but sometimes it stretches into the wider society with politics etc, so it makes sense being in Current Affairs also.

Just hoping for some sort of clarification on where to post Technology News and what the current procedure is, or are we all just confused as each other about this?

Well technically, there are grounds for it to be in both forums, as it's technology related but also a current affair, especially the threads about the digital bill, which is actually more likely to affect everyone rather than just the tech forum.

All I can really say is it's up to the member where they post their threads, if a moderator disagrees with the location, they will move it. If you think the location needs looking at you can always report it too.

But there is no reason, why things such as the digital bill shouldn't be posted in current affairs, but i'd say most other things should be in Tech Discussion.
