If you live in the UK, Spotify is a great App for people who pay £10 a month for unlimited music that you can listen to Online/Offline.

If you live in the US, Pandora is a GREAT app for music which is totally free.

They're the best music apps for Android. The Amazon App is very good, and well worth it as it has a product scanner, or you can get an App Called 'Barcode (me thinks, cba to check), but scans the Barcode of anything and finds the cheapest price.

Movies by Flixter, is a great app for avid movie fans.

Where is an amazing app for finding loads of POI's, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, businesses etc around your location....

Google Earth - Of course. (Think it's available on the Desire, it's available on my Nexus One.)

Google Goggles - Amazing App well recommended.

    Facebook of course.

Shazam is the best music identifier.

Opera Mini 5 Beta for Android - Best Browser EVER!

Mozilla Fennec for Android is in pre-alpha (Not Advised)

Fring is my favourite IM Client, and it's great on Android.

Jewels and Colorix are both good games aswell

Automatic Task Killer will save your battery life

I have an App called Layar which is useful for a bit of sightseeing - it shows you information like points of interests near where you are using the phones compass and camera. Very fun

Isn't that like an Augmented Reality App? There's a hell of a lot of them for Android. They're amazing.
