Meh, imo sexist jokes are funny. I never used to find them funny when I was all like "I iz a woman and women fought for ma independence n i'm gonna stick up for ma rights" (mind you, I was like 11 at the time) but the fact is there is little need for women to show how independent, intelligent and strong they are any more. Society has accepted men and women as equal and even though the pay gap or representation in parliament doesn't always reflect this, I would say the vast majority of people in the UK treat women and men as equal citizens, and this allows them to make a light hearted jokes which obviously aren't meant to offend or be taken as their true opinion at all. However, when this line is crossed and people honestly believe that one sex is better than another and therefore they are superior to another it is no longer a joke. But really, it's pretty clear to see when someone's joking and when someone is honestly a sexist ****.

Everything is fine in moderation - sexist jokes about males or females. We have had instances though when constant threads with neverending sexist jokes being made. This was a step too far.

I think you get a bit of a catch 22 situation, Rosie. Someone cracks a sexist joke and those who are against it start complaining. This, in turn, makes those who make the jokes do so excessively and the situation just escalates!

No I was thinking about 1 or 2 members that made a hobby out of it and they were stopped.

    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

Well, we all know where I stand on this so here we go again:

I don't care if it's just for fun because at the end of the day people are still saying they don't want to hear of it.

Though we wont see change, Garion said as long as he's here sexism (I knew what you meant, relax) wont be banned from the forum.
