Meh, imo sexist jokes are funny. I never used to find them funny when I was all like "I iz a woman and women fought for ma independence n i'm gonna stick up for ma rights" (mind you, I was like 11 at the time) but the fact is there is little need for women to show how independent, intelligent and strong they are any more. Society has accepted men and women as equal and even though the pay gap or representation in parliament doesn't always reflect this, I would say the vast majority of people in the UK treat women and men as equal citizens, and this allows them to make a light hearted jokes which obviously aren't meant to offend or be taken as their true opinion at all. However, when this line is crossed and people honestly believe that one sex is better than another and therefore they are superior to another it is no longer a joke. But really, it's pretty clear to see when someone's joking and when someone is honestly a sexist ****.
