I have done in the past but it pisses me off how I have to get someone from the uk every month to go out my account.

You can use yahoo music, or even youtube to listen to music.

Maybe you should use a proxy then connect to spotify.
I dont use proxy for spotify although i use one for hulu and southpark studios
