    Default Caught with a torrent?

    HELP! I downloaded all of the Sims 2 expansion packs this morning (i set them before i went to school) and it was about 14gb! Now when I come home the internet wont connect to broadband! Have I been caught? HELP

    I'm no professional, but call them up to see why you can't connect and they'll either say ''we don't know, we can try and help you though'' or ''yea, we've pretty much cut off your internet.'' It's worth a try.

    You maybe hit the limit of your bandwidth per month.

    This sounds likely, if you download a lot of other stuff that's 14GB or more.

    im not sure i think it was either 40gb or unlimited but bear in mind there are 4 computer in the house

    If its BT Option 3 "Unlimited" the limit is 80GB (or 100GB, I forget) per month, we have 3 Desktops, 4 laptops and mobile phones/iPods/cameras etc all connecting to the internet, usually we only hit ~50 - 60GB

    My ISP (Karoo) just charge £1 per GB we go over so there isnt really a limit.

    If the internet icon on ur router is red and ur line icon is green then your best bet is you have been cut of.
    I wont give you any hints on how NOT to get caught as i got in trouble last time (LOL)
