Nostalgia Thread.

Post what you miss the most.
- When everyone wasn't getting drunk or having sex.
- When I played flash games on the internet as soon as I came home from school.
- When www.funnyjunk.com was the best website ever.
- Going to school and playing in the playground at lunchtime.
- Playing for the local football team and waking up every Saturday at 8am even though I hated waking up then.
- Pokemon, Yugioh, Digimon and all the cards that came with each franchise.
- Beyblade.
- When you complained about homework and how hard it was, then you got to the next level of education and the cycle continued.
- Water fights.
- Old school Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon (Pokemon, Yugioh, Dragonball Z, Ed Edd and Eddy, Cow and Chicken, Weekenders, Pepper Ann, Llyod in Space, Doug, Kenan and Kel, Lizzie McGuire, Phil of the Future).
- Not being judged by appearance, or interests.
- When everyone got along just because life was simple and you worried about nothing.
- When going places with you parents wasn't considered gay.
- When I didn't have to worry so much about my future.
- When you actually looked forward to Christmas, Easter and Birthdays.

I've probably forgot a load of things, but yeah (h)

I don't consider going places with my dad gay, heck, i went camping/hiking with him this summer! Wasn't gay at all.. (i know what you meant by gay ).

I miss CheezTV on channel 10 in the morning, when they actually aired decent shows like pokemon/digimon/dragonball z etc.
Water fights
Seeing friends everyday
Not having to worry about financial problems, and how much you spend each week etc.
Not having to care what clothes you wear
Not having to try and impress the gurlz
Waking up at a normal hour (7-8am), instead of 5am on my days off -.-
Having sleepovers
Having house parties
Being considered cool because i had to go to hospital for 2 weeks
Having a family that talked to each other (a big one for me..)

Having the imagination to play Star Wars with my friends in the play ground
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Playing 'diggers' in the gravel down the side of my house
Helping my dad wash his car (now no one is aloud to touch his car lol)
Being horrible to our baby sitter (e.g. spitting in their shoes, without them knowing of course)
Playing for hours with my soft toys (e.g. Spot the dog, Chris the Dog, Grandpa Teddy, Sausage the Dog etc)
Playing for hours with my toy cars
Duplo
Water fights
Mud pies
Picking up our neighbours cat and bringing it inside
Playing with our window cleaners dog
Telling my dads friend he is fat

- getting worried about telling your friends who you fancied

- not having to worry about money
- getting everything done for me, washing, ironing, cooking etc
- not having any pressure to perform
- not having to worry about relationships
- waterfights at school
- going around my neighbours house just because i was bored
- playing out in the garden/street

-Original Playstation + games (inc. favourites like Gran Turismo, V Rally, Ridge Racer etc)
-Pokemon games on the Gameboy
-Getting a stereo CD boombox when I was younger and using it every day thinking it was the best thing since sliced bread
-SM:TV LIVE WITH ANT & DEC AND CAT DEELEY ON A SATURDAY MORNING AT 9:25!
-Daft games in the playground at school
-When school wasn't stressful and you didn't have to do exams
-Listening to my little portable radio on Friday & Saturday nights in my bed to hear all the dance music and imagine I was in a nighclub (H)
-When I was an only child (miss this the most)
-Playing with my toy cars and annoying the hell out of my mum by leaving them all over the house
-Spending all my pocket money on sweets and magazines and crap like that, and not having to pay things like car insurance and petrol.
-When life was just easy and there was nothing to worry about.

- No stress at school
- Thinking I was so cool because I had a walkman
- Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and Theme Park World on the PS1!
- Going out you just threw on anything to wear
- Not worrying about my future.
- Playing the original sims and all the expansions
- Not having to worry about if your 'up to date' with clothes etc
- Making theme parks with my LEGO
- PEZ!
- Christmas used to be absolutely amazing, never could sleep on Christmas Eve

- running out to recess really fast to get the swingball err pole
- picking which teenage mutant ninja turtle we'd be at the start of every show
-eating watermelon on my front porchhhhh in summer
- playing baseball on the street and i'd always get picked last cos i was only girl
-playin crash bandicoot and spyro on my playstation and tryna get 100% complete, never happened....
-playing sims and making everyone i knew in real life, killing off people i hated (still do this, just played yesterday)
- elementary school boyfriends, and you'd hold hands all recess
-my english penpal - if anybody knows a boy named henry he'd be 18 now living in plymouth TELL ME
-FOXKIDS ohhh and boy meets world, smart guy, teen angel
- my minidisk, DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE ONE OF THESE? i ******* loved it
- getting cards every valentines day from a 'secret admirer'
