When you say "freeze", do you mean actually freeze (meaning, the window is "not responding" and you can't click anything), or freeze latency-wise (meaning, the game IS responding on your computer but any server-sided actions aren't responding because of lag)?
Lol, I can barely get on the hotel and my internet is **** fast.
I load it up and it literally freezes on hotel view with the 2 loading bars for about 5-7 mins then if i'm lucky it'll either load or just freeze and close. Tried IE, chrome + Firefox.
It's just ridiculous though, I literally don't play anymore because I can't.
Lag must mean something. We just hope for the merge to commence today![]()
This has nothing to do with the Habbo servers, I repeat, this has NOTHING to do with the Habbo servers lagging.
I just played Habbo for a few hours now, and it was PERFECT. ZERO lag - completely smooth.
I then quit my Habbo and pressed Enter Hotel again - as in, 3 seconds after I closed the hotel. It was completely laggy. I went into my room, typed a message and it took about 3 minutes before the message showed up.
Therefore, it is DEFINITELY not a problem with the Habbo servers.
You cannot say it's a server-side problem, if I can play for hours and hours without any lag (and so can thousands of other Habbos), and then I refresh the page and suddenly the game is completely unplayable.
The only reason for the lag that I can come up with, is that Habbo uses a specific range of ports to connect, and it randomly chooses a port everytime you load the hotel. When it chooses a certain port, it might be forwarded in your router and then you will get no lag, and then when you refresh it will randomly choose another port (in that specific range) which won't be forwarded and the connection will be messed up. However, it seems like no one knows the ports Habbo uses to connect (except for the 1626 Shockwave port), and you can't Google them, because Googling "Habbo ports" (etc) will show results of Habbo RETRO ports.
This is the only thing that seems possible at this moment (even though, if it's true, how is it that the ports Habbo uses are unknown?).
I always expierience lag on habbo tbh but my internet doesn't lag on any other website!
Have you tried any other habbos eg USA becasue if they all are it might be something about your computer or if your computer is over 10 years it will be slow hope this helps

Check your Flash player version and its settings. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that yet.
I've got a ****-hot Internet connection and a MBP from last year. I installed the latest beta version of Flash player (for the hardware acceleration on videos) and now Habbo runs like a dog. I hope Adobe will rectify it.
But yeah, check which Flash player you're using in your own home versus others, and check how much space you've set for the Flash cache (NB: this is not your browser's cache).
