    Default Fingerprint door lock

Well after some things happened in security wise i wanted to get something to make me feel a bit safer, im wanting something along the lines of a finger print reader to open the doors in my house with different security settings such as if the user Dom was added he could only get into say the bathroom and the study ect...
Anyone know of something along these things?

Hmm well I believe a fingerprint system is called "Biometric" but what you're asking sounds awfully expensive and complexed. I've no doubt they'll be a system out there which suits your needs but I imagine it'll be (tens of) thousands of pounds. There will be far cheaper ways of securing your property that's for sure, call in some security experts or Google around.

One suggestion could be numerical pad locks, where you key in a number to get in to a door? They're not too cheaper either tbh and I know you're the tighest ******* going when it comes to money

Expensive is good and so is the name :L

Is this the sort of thing you mean?: http://bestofferbuy.com/Biometric-Fi...campaign=gbase

If those sort of things are too steep (not one one door, but when you et loads of doors ), my houses in Spain have locks that are like card ones - safer than keys as much harder to copy, an also great as it looks just like a credit card (without the bumpy numbers)

Are you after a whole system where you add someones fingerprints to the system and then select which doors it connects to? If you are, you're talking tens of thousands I'd imagine.

Because opening a door with your finger would be amazing.

I use my fingers all the time to open my door. I push down the handle with them.

I understand the novelty, but for £120+ it's not worth it. You will get bored with it after a while.
