I know but you're using them in comparison to each other when they are actually quite different in every way

I was saying that the transision is like the same.

Super Moderator does everything an SMOD do. Then they get asked if they want to be Manager or Assistant then they have to learn the ropes on what that job has to do. Then stop doing most of the tasks of what they used to do.

I would of thought the same would apply to Senior to Management.

The Head DJ was not a peer mentor though, it was another pointless layer of management. By promoting Gems we have simply eradicated a layer of management that was doing the position of a manager anyway. It was that or force the change in role completely and then the role of Head DJ would have become obsolete as it wouldn't be much different to Senior DJ.

The jump from Staff to Manager is essentially the same in any other department. I see no reason why it's any different in HxL.

I think that the Head DJ role developed into a managerial one because that was what was needed and it has been beneficial to HabboxLive which is why it has been scrapped because it is a lot of work, the Senior > Asst jump may seem big but really Senior DJs get to see and know how things work and have normally been at HabboxLive for a while so will pick up things. There will always be an adjustment when someone gets made manager because it is different but I don't think going from senior to asst manager will affect people that badly because the person that is picked is going to be the person best for the role and is obviously already going to have qualities that a manager would need.

To back Matt's point up, the jump from Super Moderator to Assistant Forum Manager is phenomenal - I've been there and done that - and it worked well so I see no reason for this not working as long as the right Senior DJ is chosen for the job.
