Not really necessary and wouldn't be true reflection of how good people are anyway - I only have 3 but they're for big things (and I have a great issue reason on one) because I didn't want all the lower ones before them, so someone with like 5k posts in 2 years could have more than me if they wanted

As I said earlier in this thread it was one of my original possibilities and biohazard (I think it was?) added the cherry to the top suggesting it should link to awards.

It is on my list of things to do and will probably be in the next lot of sunday updates I do which may have to be a week on Sunday as I must get back to my revision and I am still waiting on a finalised plan for a new idea which I'd like to launch. So yes, it will probably be happening it's just taking me a bit longer to get round to sorting everything out

I don't really understand why people have requested each level of badge. You've got the one year, then two year, then three year - What's the point? Every time you get a higher award it should replace the old one otherwise it just looks stupid and people end up with loads...

It would probably make sense for a new member starting off now, but as we're already up there it seems silly to get the lower ones as well. It would make sense for the later ones to replace the older ones but while they're all available I'm still gonna get them

I think it is a good idea that each level replaces the last one, but only if there are more reasons to get bades, otherwise older members could want more badges to show what they have done, yet it would look like they have done no more than a newer member.

I am not saying I think that, since not sure I really want awards, just flipping the other side of the coin though!
