Yes the old NFS Hot Pursuit series that made its debut on the ps2 and followed by Hot Pursuit 2 is back and this time for the PS3 and 360, and no, it wont be some download game on the playstation store or marketplace, itll be a full on game. Heres the E3 trailer below:

EA announces Need for speed: Hot Pursuit

Hot Pursuit was out on the PC way before PS2s were invented. We're talking around 1998 when I played that game.

Criterion Games have been given the keys to Need for Speed. Hopefully we will see a half decent game this year.

I saw a bit of gameplay from watchoing a live coverage of E3 on www.gametrailers.com overall thr game really is back to their roots and looks sweet
