To be honest, most places let you do that BUT you have to stay back afterwards to make up for the hours you missed during the game.
I'd rather go to work and watch the highlights, but im off tonight so woooo!
yeh but some places let you take days off to watch the match lmao
I dnt work anywhere but last cup i was allowed off. Also my mate works at tesco and hes allowed any england game off he wants for like the 3 hours aslong as theres someone to cover him
I swapped shifts, so instead of having tomorrow night off, I have tonight off![]()
So what if everyone wants to stay off to watch it :S
Having a TV at work, especially if you're just standing behind a counter, is the best way of allowing employees to watch matches I would have thought - from an employer's perspective.
England kick off next saturday at 3pm. i work every weekend :/
That's because he can get any shift off if he can get someone to cover him. If someone works your hours you can have whatever you want off, it's nothing to do with the World Cup.
