    I love how you are so confident about every game. Football is football and anything could happen. We beat Slovenia before the world cup 3-0 I think, so what is there to suggest we are going to lose that? And Algeria got beat by Slovenia, so on your law of averages of football games, Mr Einstein, England should go through.

    The sending off wouldn't have been as bad if the ref had been consistent afterwards but instead there were plenty of much worse tackles that went overlooked. Only thing I can praise him for is spotting Vidic's handball.

    Hate to say it but I felt a bit sorry for the Germans even though they missed their golden opportunity which came in the form of a penalty. Definitely the weirdest game of the tournament thus far.
