    Default Full Sleeve Tattoos

OK, so basically, I've been seriously considering for some time getting my entire left arm, from shoulder to wrist coverd in a tattoo design I thought up some time ago. However, I keep thinking I'm too young to be getting such a large tattoo (I'm 19). I just wanted to know what peoples opinions are on full sleeve tattoos, specifically on younger people.

massive turn-off for me personally, all tattoos are though unless they're hidden in special places
does the design have any meaning to it?

Have to say I'm not a fan of them either. Maybe post a picture of the design though, it'd be interesting to see what it looks like.

To be honast, the design is sorta in my head. I'm no artist by no means, and I'm gonna have to talk to the artist to get my ideas onto paper; but basically, it's almost like a heaven scene, with aload of angels and cherubs with a star and cloud background.

I think that if you're dead set on getting one then wait until you're a little bit older.

I know this guy from college: http://www.flickr.com/photos/danlinners/4413687247/ he's like 19/20 and he's got one full sleeve and his other arm has the lines without colour.
It all depends on whether you know what you're going to do and whether that job allows tattoos being on show or not. Of course you can cover them up

I want to be a teacher, so obviously it's going to have to be permanantly covered up.

Gonna be honest, this doesn't sound thought out nearly enough. Get it on paper, keep it and check it for at least 6 months to make sure you still like it and then consider it as a possibility, or else you're going to end up with an arm looking like crap with no meaning for you whatsoever other than a reminder of your reckless youth. If you're really that into it then it'll be worth the wait
