    Default The 'next England manager'

If reports are to be proven true, after the World Cup TheFA could well be looking for a new manager for the national side. I know I'm jumping the gun a bit but it will probably happen, so who do you think should be the next England manager, be it in 2 months time or in 2 years time when Capello's contract is over?

I personally think it MUST be and English manager and think it should be between Stuart Pierce, Harry Redknapp or Roy Hogdson. By having an England manager, especially if it were Pierce, their would definitely be some passion in the team.

I would like Roy Hogson to be manager, he's experienced, seen it all, done it all, has done a FANTASTIC job at Fulham and he's also already said that if TheFA were to come in for him he'd have no choice but to take the Job.

So, what do you lot think?

Harry has just signed a new deal and is (possibly) managing a CL side for the first time in his career.

In an ideal world, I'd like Woy or Hiddink.

I'm all for discipline, but treating training like an army camp can't do much for team spirit. (Look what happened to Ramos at Spurs...)

Redknapp would be great but doubt he'd do it, not enough freedom with national sides and he can't do his wheeler dealing to sort the team out. BECKHAM FOR MANAGER might as well it's not like he can do much worse and they'll all just be like k let's win for Becks he has good hair

    Really?

Harry wouldn't need to be a wheeler dealer, England has enough talent at his disposal.

As much as I love Becks, has he got the personality to be a manager?

******* hell, we can almost see everything in that picture, that's awful. And I'd like Mourinho. No, Pearce. If we fail to get to the Euros I wouldn't give a ****, as long as Pearce has them playing the way he did. I'd rather we went out vs Slovenia but had Psycho's mentality about it.

    Raymond Domenech.

Could always have John Toshack. Wouldn't need to worry about wingers that way, he doesn't play with any.

Probably not but can you imagine how much everyone would be behind them as a country if he was managing them for Euro 2012 it'd be mental be a good time for him to do it too because much later and half the kids watching won't even remember him anyway

Oh shame I spelled 'Pearce' wrong.

There is also no doubt in my mind that one day, Beckham will be England manager.

i'm gonna be honest, i don't blame fabio at all for the way england are playing, he's a decent manager: i would also like to see becks manage, but i don't think he will. i reckon redknapp will get it.
