Could I point out that the referee's would be told by the assistant referee's and fourth official about if they should book the people too. You don't seriously think referee's have to make those sorts of decisions all by themselves?

Also running the line is SO much easier than refereeing lol

I was actually applauding the USA/Slovenia ref - kept his cards in his pocket and the only mistake he made (albeit a big one but it's the Yanks so who cares ) was the disallowed goal right at the last.

The Brazil/Ivory Coast ref was SHOCKINGGGG. Don't even know where to start, Liniker summed him up nicely; 'Did you handle the ball?', 'Did he hit you in the face?'. Idiot.
