It doesn't even need to be all this fancy technology, there are enough cameras already across the stadium, all the referee needs to do is ask to see the replay that we see. It breaks all logical bounds that FIFA don't allow this

I agree, they don't need to spend money, the technology's already there. They just need to get a grip and implement it.

I don't want to use the disallowed goal as an excuse, but I truely do not understand why FIFA/the relevant world football people don't employ goal line technology, or allow the referee to refer to a video replay. Gary Linaker (pretty sure that's spelt wrong haha) read out a statement after the game saying it was too expensive. ******** is it, rugby and cricket both have it, why not football, which is meant to the most played sport around the world.
Like I said, not using it as an excuse, but it amazes me how the FIFA allow this 'the referee is always right no matter what' attitude at national level, especially in the final 16 where a goal can be the difference between winning and losing

Yeah, yesterday in the Mexico match, the Tevez goal which was offside was shown on the big screen and the Mexican fans went ballistic. The referee and linesmen saw they did wrong but they could do nothing about it. The technology is there.

Oh and Netherlands for me. As for Gibbs, I think he'll be the next Cole. We have a way of developing top class LB's and I have no doubt he'll be the next one. He's 20 atm, so in 4 years time he'll be ready imo. At 19 he was the U21 starting LB, so I think he'll make the step up soon.
