    Somehow, i'm thinking that some people in this thread actually have no idea how much their house is worth.

    Mine is probably about £300k.

    Kinda £300,000 mark I think. In a decent area, surrey, outskirts of London. Nothing speacial as a house, but personally it's a high value.

    I have a general idea, and fortunately real estate in Canada (well--where I am atleast) seems to be cheaper than in the UK

    Where about in Surrey, I live there also!

    it's possible their houses are worth that much but i'm betting it wasn't to begin with, whether they had an extension or not.
    i'm not gonna lie, it's worth about £130k. we have everything we need, why would i want anymore:S
