I've heard that many bad things about it that I've just decided to avoid it for the time being.

And no the Windows Live Messenger Beta isn't the same as Plus - it does have tabbed conversations like Plus, but remember Plus is simply an add-on for Windows Live Messenger and needs WLM installed to work.

i used it for awhile and it was nice and worked fine for me , the only issue i had with it was the no longer allowing one way webcam which is gay.
