    right, the wifi on my ipod touch wont connect
    it finds my router and it has a signal but when i type in the password and try to connect and it just says 'unable to connect'. if i go into the settings or whatever it is (the blue '>') the ip address, subnet mask etc is all blank, which im guessing it shouldnt be

    any ideas? :S

    nah its deffo the right one. its wap anyway if that makes any difference

    WPA* ;P and hmm. Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset Network Settings try that.

    oh my bad, typo
    Just tried that, still 'unable to connect'. I reset it to factory defaults earlier as well so...

    Try giving it a static IP rather than relying on DHCP.

    Put your router's address as the gateway & DNS, subnet (usually 255.255.255.0) then your desired network IP (often 192.168.1.x or 192.168.2.x, x being a number).

    what about 'router' and 'search domains'? and where do i type in the desired network ip? :S
