Should your current BF/GF be mad if you're friends with an ex?

I mean, can you really be friends with an ex and be fine with it, or do you think that those feelings are still going to be there?

And should your current significant other be upset about it if you're really close to them?

I personally think that people can be friends with their exes and if they're really close with them then the current BF/GF should respect that.

I think they can be friends, aslong as theres nothing going on. The BF/GF should respect that you're friends with your ex, they may be a bit suspicious at first but you shouldn't not be friends with your ex because your BF/GF says so.

No, there should be trust in a relationship, if there's no trust then the relationship isn't that strong really.

Tbh it depends on the situation, if my boyfriend had been going out with someone for a year and they were his first love and all that crap then I wouldnt like them being friends, I trust him but I wouldn't feel comfortable with it, but if it was like someone he was seeing a for a few months then ye that wouldnt matter to me.

I think the boyfriend/girlfriend should let the person in question be friends with there ex. It's there choice and the boyfriend/girlfriend should have trust in the person there going out with.
