Hmm I believe that if someone wants to get married it should be 25+, however I don't think I want to get married. It would feel to binding and like constrained. Probably wouldn't think about marriage until I was pregnant anyway

I wouldn't necessarily say there is a suitable age to get married. Of course, I think getting married at a very young age could have a lot of negative consequences, but I think as long as the two people are really in love, and believe they're ready to commit their life to someone, go for it!

My mum and dad were like 20/22 when they got married and stayed married for 27 years. My Nan and Grandad married slightly earlier and were married for 57 years. I personally think that when you're ready then you're ready to get married. Although people do seem to get married these days because its the thing to do or it makes money *cough Mrs Reid cough* but I think peoples flippant attitude towards marriage means that when they do get married its almost bound to fail as they're expecting to get a divorce somewhere down the road.

I'm not mocking anyone who doesn't believe in marriage but for those who do and say ''if it doesn't work out then we will just get a divorce'' clearly aren't ready for marriage and possibly wouldn't be until much later in life. Or at least thats my personal opinion from what I've seen around me.

    i'd say 16+
if you don't think things through with marrage and just rush through it, their fault.
