Most PL fans, not even Arsenal fans, want him to stay so the big stars stay in the PL. He's the best midfielder in the PL, and will become the best in the world in a few years. Why would PL fans want to lose that.

And Geraint, it all depends on Ibra. If Ibra goes then Fabregas will start every game. If Ibra stays, it will probably be a rotation system.
I don't give a toss if you think he's 'one of the biggest players' he's scum

Well He's not exactly popular with Stoke fans, nor are Arsenal, so if you want an atmosphere I suggest you go Stoke away on the 7th of may.

The best? Gerrard and Lampard are top performers, if we disregard this season. Robinho, arguably can be top, top class (if he sorts his attitude out), Essien, you said yourself is one of the best CDM worldwide and Mascherano could be that as well. You're probably not far off with saying Fabregas is the best, but to say it as black and white as that is, in my opinion, a bit dismissive not to mention other players. Besides, Cristian Riveros is the best. 8)

No of course it isn't black and white. But, currently and from now on I can see Fabregas being better than Lampard and Gerrard. Obviously in the past it wasn't like that, but now I think it is. Essien is the only one i'd say is quite close to him at the moment, although even then I think Fabregas is better. Mascherano I don't think he is. And I was only talking about central midfielders, not wingers, but even then I think Fabregas is still the best.

Either way, the PL will be loosing one of its world class players.

Fabregas can't get into the Spain XI, and probably wouldn't get into Barca's XI. It's a sad state of affairs when our best midfielder cant get into the best team in Spain. I don't know what you're talking about with regards to Lampard. Go check last season's scoring table please. And that's from a deep position. Besides, you're rating Fabregas on how good he WILL be?

I think if Fabregas stayed fit, he would have had more goals/assists then Lampard personally.

    Fabregas got 35 Goals/Assists in 35 Games.
    Lampard got 44 Goals/Assists in 53 Games.

I think Fabregas is a better player than Lampard myself, call me biased if you want and if you disagree I wont argue against it because it's personal opinion. Lampard is naturally a more attacking player than Fabregas.

And no I'm not, I'm saying even currently he is possibly the best in the PL, and one of the top 5 in the world imo (centrally).

As for Spain, the only person keeping him out is Xavi, who is the best in the world probably. Fabregas wouldn't start over Busquets because the Spain team need a Busquets type player. Also Alonso is a lot more defencive than Fabregas which is why he starts.

As for Barca, Fabregas will probably get into the XI depending on Ibra. If Ibra goes, Fabregas will start every game. If he stays, it will be a rotation system probably.
