When we were younger we all used to go to a sleepover or camping and one thing that would often been done would be scary stories.

I want you to post the best scary story you know in a reply to this thread. The one that gets my bones rattling the most will win.

One day a boy named Charlie Wackaweed, was making a wish on a star. He did not know that the wish he would be making would change his life forever.

It was late one night, when Charlie was looking at the stars. He had heard that if you wish on the first star you see, your wish will become true. So he spotted the first star that he saw, and he made a wish on it. His wish was that whatever he said or did, for it to come true. So for instance if he would say "Let it snow" it would snow.

Just a few days later, he was sitting in Geometry class wondering about the test they would have in about 5 minutes. When he got the test, he sat there wishing that he would ace the test. He took the test that was supposed to be very hard and he thought that it was easy. He got it back and it was an A+. he was amazed because he had never had a test and aced it before, and this test was probably the hardest one that he had ever taken. He asked all his classmates what they had gotten on the test and they all replied " A C+ or lower. Charlie was very excited that he had gotten a better grade than Chris, who was an A+ student ,and Chris had made a C-.

There was this one kid that Charlie did not like. He wished that something bad would happen to him. The very next day he was out of school. Charlie asked his teacher where he was he said " He is in the hospital with a very deadly disease. It came on him so fast, and none of the doctors have a cure. It is really weird. I have never seen anything like it."

The very next day, Charlie heard that the kid with the deadly disease had died. Charlie was upset about the whole situation. He knew that it was his fault that he had died . So he went to his funeral with sorrow and regret.

He was at home, alone, late one night. All of a sudden the phone rang. He ran down the steps to answer it thinking that it might be his parents. He picked up the phone and he heard the dial tone. He thought to himself "That's weird" and then he went back up to his room thinking no more about it. This happened several more times and he still ignored it. Then all of a sudden the door bell rang. He went down to answer it again thinking that it might be his best friend Jarred. He opened the door and said "Hey Jarred......what's....." but then he noticed that no one was there. He thought to himself "It must be those little kids that live down the street prank calling and ringing the doorbell and running." So he then went back up the stairs to his room, thinking no more of it. Then there was a peck on the window. He was really starting to get kind of scared and curious. He went to the window, opened it and yelled "Get out of here you little kids!!" But still he saw no one. Since it was starting to get really freaky, he decided to go and watch some T.V. He flipped on the T.V. and right then the power went out. He knew that the kids couldn't have done something like that because he didn't have a fuse box. He now realized that the kids couldn't have done any of the other things now, and he was starting to get really scared. He went and got a flash light and he saw red eyes across the room and was coming very fast towards him. He all of a sudden heard a low, creepy, but familiar voice calling " Charlie..........Charlie...........Charlie.....how could you do something like this to me?" Charlie replied "Who are you? What do you want from me? I have no clue what you're talking about." The voice replied "You do know what I'm talking about Charlie Wackaweed."All of a sudden, it jumped out behind the shadows and Charlie saw a beaten, flesh removed, kid that Charlie recognized as the kid that he had wished that something bad would happen to. His eyes were blood red, and the flesh that he had left was purple and blue. Charlie was scared to death. He told the kid that he had never meant for him to be killed or even hurt, but he didn't believe him. The kid replied "Now it is your turn to follow the pain and death that I had suffered through." Then the kid took Charlie out of the house, and tied him up to a tree. The kid then dug a huge hole and then untied Charlie. The ghost said to him," I'm sorry that it has to end this way Charlie, but this is what you have to repay me by doing. Good-Bye Charlie!" Then the kid threw Charlie in the hole and buried him alive.

No one really knew what had happened to Charlie Wackaweed. Until one day a clipping all of a sudden appeared in the newspaper telling what had happened and who had actually killed the kid that Charlie didn't like. I am telling you now, be careful what you wish for because it just might come true.

these college girls are having a slumber party and go to rent a video at a local dealer. the girls cannot agree on a film, so one of them asks for help. the clerk states that she has just the thing and disappears into the back room.
meanwhile, one girl sees a box-less tape laying on the counter and reaches toward it. just then, the clerk comes out from the back and tells her not to touch it and hands her an older film. the girl asks about the first tape, and the woman tells her that it is just a home movie. the girls agree to rent the tape that the woman suggests. while they are checking out, the girl who asked for help swipes the "home movie" tape.

back at their house, the girl tells the others about the tape she swiped and they laugh, telling her that she is dumb for stealing some woman's home movies. still, they ask her to play the tape. She puts the tape in and then the power goes out -- but the television stays on.

the video starts playing and shows a black woman being burned for practicing witchcraft and hoodoo. She utters a curse that all who witness her death will face the same fate in two-days time. the VCR begins to make skipping sounds and then cuts off. as promised, the girls died forty-eight hours after watching the tape. they all met their demise in unrealistic places such as the pool or ice rink

Bang. I walked. Kept on walking, never stopping for anyone, never thinking of my next move, never knowing of what will happen next. I see people, surrounding me, talking about lives of others which is no concern of theres; no concern of mine. I moved swiftly like a wolf in the night sky, constantly moving. I hear the cry of "Jamie", turning instantly to see someone, someone blurred. Forcing myself closer and closer towards it, I could see the dragons plague reaching me. I could see clearly, a mirror on the floor of someone I could recognise but who. There's mum crying over them, there's mum...? Shouting the name constantly and constantly covered in blood, only for me to look over and see a reflection. Every choice I made, I didn't.

The dream was so vivid, she didn't realize at first that it was a dream. The party was crowded, the guests cheerful, the food delicious. Then a rumor began to circulate among the guests. The Devil was coming to the party. The Devil was on the way.

She didn't pay much attention at first. Until a hush came over the crowd. Turning to see what it was, she saw a tall, handsome blond man standing in the doorway greeting his hostess. Around her, the murmurs began. It was the Devil. He had come.

She watched out of the corner of her eye as the Devil made the rounds of the room. He looked so ordinary, it was hard to believe he was the Devil. Then he came to her group. As soon as he joined them, she knew the rumor was true. This was not someone to be trifled with. Frightened, she grabbed for a Bible her hostess had left lying on a nearby end-table and threw it at the Devil. For a moment, their eyes locked. The Devil's eyes were full of ferocious anger, terrible evil, and malevolent malice directed right at her. She thought she was dead.

Then she woke, and lay trembling in her bed with the light on until dawn.

The next morning was the end of term. Her parents and younger sister helped her clear out her dorm room and packed the car. It was dusk before they settled into their seats for the two-hour drive home. They talked excitedly as they drove towards their home in New Jersey, interrupting each other often, contradicting themselves and laughing. It was good to be together again.

They were fifteen minutes from home when they left the highway. Her father turned onto Washington Rock Road that led up the mountain, through the C-bend around the Washington Rock State Park and then down the other side of the mountain. As they drove up the steep hill, a noisy motorcycle tail-gated them, trying to pass even though the road was windy and narrow. Finally the hill grew so steep that the driver was forced to slow down and eventually, they pulled away from him entirely.

The car reached the top of the hill and started around the long C curve that took them through one end of the park. The park was dark and still. The whole family automatically looked to their right, out over the gorgeous view of the New York City skyline. They all saw the small park cart, sitting next to the road just inside the park boundary. It was parked directly underneath the only streetlight, where you couldn't fail to see it. And inside the vehicle....

She started trembling fiercely. Inside the vehicle was a tall, handsome blond man with eyes full of ferocious anger, terrible evil, and malevolent malice. It was the man from her dream. The man everyone said was the Devil!

The tension in the car was palpable. She had mentioned her dream to no one. But her parents and her sister all felt the evil pulsing from the still figure in the cart. No one spoke as they drove past the man.

Suddenly, the engine gave a strange cough. Her father gunned the motor, once, twice in a silent, desperate battle to keep moving. She gripped her hands together, praying silently as she stared at the figure opposite their car. The engine caught again and her father pressed down hard on the accelerator. Then they were past the man and roaring away from the park and towards the downward slope of the mountain.

She was sweating profusely, unable to stop shaking. She looked back out the window at the man in the park, and saw the motorcycle come roaring at last to the top of the hill. It drove half-way around the C-bend and as it drew opposite the figure in the cart, she heard the engine of the motorcycle cough. And then stall.

And then the park was out of view and they were riding silently towards home, not daring to speak until they were safely indoors.

She often wondered what happened to the man on the motorcycle

A new kid moved from the hustling and bustling city of Tokyo to a small remote village called Hinimizawa. He had lots of friends and every day after school he would go to a games club and play some games. If you won the game you could select the punishment game for the loser and the loser would have to suffer.
One day his friend Mion won the game and he ended up loosing. Mion suddenly had to go to work and left so they had to cut the club short that day. Whilst walking home, he saw his friend Rena behind him but carrying something rather odd. He looked away and carried on walking then out of the blue Rena appeared in front of him. He looked down at Rena's hands which were covered in blood. She hadn't been bleeding, oh no. In her left hand he saw a hatchet covered in blood. He gasped then ran back home.
His parents informed him that they had to go to Tochigi for work for a few months, leaving him all alone. Later on that night, Rena knocked on his door and gave him some cakes. She asked him to find out which one was hers then left. He felt peckish so he decided to eat one of the cakes. He took a bite in it and his mouth bled. He spat out the cake to find a needle in the middle. He started throwing all of the cakes at the wall to find all of them had needles in.
The next day he found out that Satako hadn't been at school for a couple of days. He got worried so he went to her house to find her. He saw her uncle smoking and playing Mah Jong. A few minutes later he saw Satako with bruises on her arm and leg. He thought that Satako had been child abused so he decided on the night of the cotton drifting festival he would murder Satako's Uncle.
His plan worked but a tourist had noticed him and asked him if he was able to bury the body. He started to panic and so ran to the festival. He asked Mion's sister Shion were Mion and Rika was. She replied and said that they were at Mion's house. At Mion's house he saw Rika lying on the floor, blood scattered around her and had a knife in her head. He couldn't believe his eyes and ran to a cave to find Mion. Mion jumped and strapped him down to a wooden bench. Mion quickly hammered nails into his fingers and then got a syringe out and injected some kind of drug into him. slowly he died away. Mion overflowed with delight and started screaming out "I've finally killed everyone I wanted to kill!" and started laughing like a maniac. In his last moments he thought to him self, die you physcopath. Mion ran to some apartments and started skipping on the barrier of the top floor. She lost her step and fell, she still had a smile on for a few seconds but then realised she was going to die and started screaming.
In the local news the paper said that 9 people had died on the night of the cotton drifting festival. People started saying that it was Ooishi's curse, others said it was a coincidence. A few years later all that was left was blood scattered across the ground and weapons in people and placed randomly.
What do you think it was, a curse, or a coincidence?

There once was 18 year old boy and his mother just died in a car crash. He visited his mother in the graveyard every night at 7.00. He visited her every night because he knew that she died because of him. She died because he forgot to change the wheels on the car because all the grip had gone. It was in the middle of a snowstorm and the car was skidding down the road. With one quick turn she skidded right into an electric generator and she blew-up. He never forgave himself for that one mistake. But one night he didn't visit his mother. Instead he went out with his friends and at 11.00 when he got in. His mothers spirit haunted the house. She was after him. She followed him upstairs and waited for him to fall asleep. In the morning he didn't notice anything, untill he got down stairs. His farther was staring at him in shock as well as his sister. He was confused. He looked in the mirror and everything looked alright to him. He went outside. Looked in the car window, and there staring back at him was his reflection. But it had changed..... alot. His face was distroughted. He had missing peices of flesh of his face. His hair was black ... burned and sticking up. One of his eyeballs was missing and he looked just like his mother did when she got blew up. He screamed so loud that all the piogins in the street flew away and neather reaturned. Everything he touched burned. He had to live like that forever. So next time you decide to do somthing better than change the tyres....... just think about what might happen

A couple were on their way home from a restaurant, and suddenly his car ran out of gas. It was about one in the morning and they were completely alone in the middle of the nowhere.

The guy stepped out of the car, saying comfortingly to his girlfriend, "Don't worry, I'll be right back. I'm just going to go out for some help. Lock the doors, though."

She locked the doors and sat restlessly, waiting for her boyfriend to come back. Suddenly, she sees a shadow fall across her lap. She looks up to see... not her boyfriend, but a strange, crazed looking man. He is swinging something in his right hand.

He sticks his face close to the window and slowly pulls up his right hand. In it is her boyfriend's decapitated head, twisted horribly in pain and shock. She gasped in horror as she saw the blood dripping down from his neck. She shuts her eyes in horror and tries to make the image go away. When she opens her eyes, the man is still there, grinning psychotically. He slowly lifts his left hand, and he is holding her boyfriend's keys... to the car.
