I want to save all my texts to external SD card rather than internal is this possible?

don't think you can otherwise? or does astro file manager do that im a newbie to android

It's just i cba deleting messages i like having a nice convo to read back on if i need to

Your texts take up barely any room, I have 3,000 odd in my Messaging app just fine.
On FroYo (or even better) if you root your phone, you can move your applications to a second partition on your SD Card.:8

Yeh but i normally have about 2000 per contact in a few weeks and it starts slowing down
