    Default Granddad dead,

Yeah, well my granddad jimmy died early hours in the morning. But the thing is, i'm not close to him or my dads side of the family. I think i only seen him like 3 times. The only memory i have of him is him being lazy. In bed watching tv, was never close to him, but i don't really feel for his death. But i might be asked to carry his coffin, but i don't want to. I didn't cry or anything when i found out. As he was never really a granddad the way i see it.

You don't get to choose your family, carry his coffin - you might regret not doing so one day.

I also agree with this. He's still part of your family, and you might regret it if you don't. I think you should carry it

Well I sure you will be there to support any family who were closer to him. Just because he was your Grandad doesn't automatically mean you will grieve for him. You would have to have quite a longstanding emotional attachment to do that.

I agree, you can't choose your family! You will probably regret it and not forgive yourself for not doing it.
    I'm sorry for your loss
