Fair play, threads were made about habbox.com going inactive and I was surprised that management actually did something. I'm sure if habbox continues to do constant events and giveaways for the next week or so it will be back to the popularity rate that it was before the merge.

Habbox should give out more forum vip in events. After all if your going to continuously give away furni, habbox will eventually have none left lol.

I completely agree, habbox management have seen that we have been getting unpopular and have acted on it. But furni will start to run out so yeah stuff like VIP should be given out as prizes too.

Roxy a few weeks ago posted that there will be a weekly event where you can win VIP. They have a quota like other departments so obviously they can't give out a lot a month.

Yeah a weekly event to win VIP is still in the workings but nothing much has come from it yet (will be awarded along with the Event Award).

I think it's been pretty successful - especially with all those listeners on HabboxLive and a full room for pretty much two hours. Would like to see some statistics to see if it's been worth while though!

Yeah its really great to see all of this as well as the new, bigger and better lotto making a come back and on top of all of that there is HxSS to look forward to in two and a half weeks time!
I have to agree with Mathew as well, although myself, Garion, Matt and Roxy have each held a giveaway (and still three more planned) this week it wouldn't have been half as successful without the co-operation from regular Habbox visitors and the HabboxLive DJs who were covering all of the events and I must say that they all did a superb job as well. I know there were other people who have been involved as well but its really great to see how everyone is chipping in here there and everywhere and it seems to be working brilliantly!

Yeah this week has basically been "Habbox Promotion" week where events/giveaways have been planned for each day. They have been a huge success so far and I have to thank everyone who has helped out whether it's on the site/radio or on the client. I feel if we keep doing things like this, then the activity should hopefully increase. We do have HxSS coming up soon, although that is normally Habbox regular users taking part but it does also attract other people to the forum to help the points for their chosen team.

The idea of this week was to promote Habbox as much as possible which does seem to be working as the listeners today averaged around 130-140 for 4 hours and peaked at about 155 (I think) which is the highest they've been in a while. Hopefully we can keep doing a few more things like this and eventually popularity will start to rise again.

Also we will be starting a weekly event to win VIP, however it made more sense to start it in September since I'm away first 2 weeks of August & then there's HxSS, so if you have any ideas on a type of event you'd like to see for that now's your chance

Woo positive feedback! Only just noticed this thread. I'm glad it's been noticed though . We've all worked pretty hard this past week to try and get the Habbox name out there as much as possible and I think it's been massively successful. We're all really pleased with the results and with HxSS coming up, as has been said, our presence on the hotel is going to continue to be pretty out there (H). It's been an enjoyable week and I think it's given us all an insight into how important it is we are really pushing the name on Habbo itself, and it's something we're definitely going to continue doing in a variety of ways.

The only thing which puzzles me here is: you're a team, why can't other members of Events take more responsibility, ok Phil's away but David and Charl are around?
