I think Katy perry - California gurls is the ultimate summer song of 2010

To be fair it's the only actual summer tune we've had this year that I can think of, all the other big songs haven't been actual summer anthems

I agree with Music.x.Mad because those are the only two songs that are kind of summery and have been big.

Also agreed, surprised there haven't been more summer songs out as it is a wide target market for such a precise theme.

I agree with the OP, and her other song Teenage dream, admittedly not very summery but it gives me that feel. I lieks it.

they're probably the easiest band to like ive heard in a while haha. they're just a boy/girl duo that make just really simple 2-3 minute reverb-y guitar pop songs that sound like they should be constantly played on the beach. i mean for gods sakes look at their album cover:

they're not really a band that youll listen to and be like WOW THEYRE AMAZING they just make really catchy and kinda humorous songs. its such a short album too, ive listened to it a pretty decent amount, id recommend it.
