Didn't ryan say it'd appear only if you hovered over awards? I wouldn't want it there permanently

Yeah, it could appear in a little bubble underneath the mouse when you hover, and fade out when you take your mouse off of it.

I believe theyre needs to be a greater variety of awards though. Otherwise everyone is goig to be displaying the same awards just at a diffrent stage ( for instance someone shows an award of 2,500 posts and someone else of 250). Awards nablished and once they are they should be introduced as prizes. I don't know if youve ever eard of this site but i used to moderate i site called Habboremix which no longer runs ATM. But they had a badge system where if you earned a badge it would feel special as they were diffrent for diffrent competitions ect.

For instance you could have one for winning the remix lottery as so few people would have that.
Another idea would be event wise such as. Any user who is logged in at midnighton new years eve would win the new years eve award and so on.

while to implement,but once fully up and running it would be great.
It's also alot more visual than reputation so it may intice newer users to compete i more competitions.

You could do it like habbo where you can only show up to 5 badges and you can pick and choose each one

I don't know if this is possible but - could you modify the groups, so like habbo, you can design a badge, and then have it appear in the popup (might be a bit too hard)?
