Coalition's internet 'consultation' sham as ministers reject every suggestion

No one but Labour want the Digital Economy act. I'm leading a local campaign to lobby MPs to repeal the act.

I think the Conservatives agree with it in the sense that it is intended to protect the interests of the markets but can see that it will infringe the liberties of the average citizen. All of the Liberal Democrats I know are still campaigning against it, if I see a single Liberal Democrat MP supporting it when it is brought back up the agenda again then I will resign my membership of the Lib Dems for sure. In my opinion it's one of the most barbaric, unjust and illiberal pieces of legislation bought in since the 1940's.
