    does anyone know of a good one that they know works?
    magpie used to be a good one but its old now

    What exactly is wrong with Magpie? The coding looks pretty damn solid to me. You can't exactly complain if it's slow, parsing XML isn't exactly a fast task because of the bloated nature of it.

    The coding that is uses to parse xml stops be supported in php5. I tried replacing the obsolete code with new function equivalent but it didn't work.
