The maintenance break has been going on for a while. No one, for sure, knows what the maintenance is for, and good luck finding out anytime soon, because under the "What's going on?" bit on the maintenance page, there is nothing listed. What could be keeping the hotel up at almost 2am? My opinion is that it's about the lion badge mess the hotel has made for itself, though it could also be about the rumored rhinos that will soon be in the catalog. How are you enjoying the maintenance break?
